Jesus Omar Garcia Beauchamp

Jesús O. García Beauchamp began his studies on Architecture at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and obtains his professional degree at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.  As a student he practiced relative backgrounds like painting, ceramics and graphic design as complements for the professional preparation.  García Beauchamp also acquired knowledge in urban planning through various studies on the history of urban growth of different cities, and involved himself in some in-site studies visiting different cities like Mexico, Italy, Barcelona and La Habana Cuba.  As a young architect he gained experience in Toro Ferrer Architects and began his professional practice in the private firm of Agrait Betancourt Architects in San Juan and later at Atelier 66 in Ponce.  His practice covers projects from the private and public sector, like, Residential, Commercial Developments, Institutional, Sports and Healthcare Facilities.  Since 2005 he works as an architect in training in a private office named VISURA CSP in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He is in charge for the design development process, permits, projects administration and coordinating consultant’s construction documents.
